Sephora Employee Discount

Sephora does have an employee discount that varies depending on exactly where you work. So people working at a Sephora stand in a JCpenney will get a different discount than those working at a stand-alone store.

According to employees at Sephora, the standard discount is 40% off the Sephora Collection and 20% off all other cosmetic lines. However, for those working inside JCPenney, their discount is 30% and only applies to Sephora products.

According to former Sephora employees, those working in a Sephora stand alone branch, can also enjoy an additional 10% off all brands once a year and can extend this to their family and friends.

Sephora Flash Subscription

Sephora Flash gives online shoppers free 1-2 day shipping on all orders at a cost of just $15 per year. If you are a true Sephora fan and find yourself shopping online every couple of months, then this is a way for you to save some serious money and time.

There is no minimum purchase required but be aware though that some items are not included in the offer. These are limited to mostly aerosol and alcohol based items due to complications with shipping safety guidelines.

Sephora PLAY!

Sephora has a loyalty and rewards program known as Beauty Insider. It's broken up into 3 reward tiers that offer their own set of rewards. The first tier is free to join, but every tier afterward has a point limit you have to hit first. For Sephora rewards, each dollar spent equals to 1 point earned.

Insider - Free to Join

If you sign up for free you’ll be part of the Beauty Insider club and receive 10% off seasonal savings, $50 minimum standard shipping. You’ll also get a birthday gift each year.

VIB - Spend $350

Once you spend $350 at Sephora, you can become a VIB member. You will now enjoy 15% off seasonal savings and $35 minimum standard shipping. You’ll also get an annual birthday gift, but your choice of gift may be better than Beauty Insider members.

Rouge - Spend $1,000

Once you spend $1,000 at Sephora you'll become a Rouge member and enjoy standard shipping for orders of any size. You’ll also enjoy 20% off seasonal savings and events, plus you will be able to exchange 2,500 points for $100 off when redeeming a Rogue Reward in the Rewards Bazaar. Perks also include unlimited makeovers, special Rouge events and free participation in Sephora’s Flash shipping program.

When shopping online at Sephora, make sure to look out for their free samples. You can usually choose two freebies to add to your order when shopping online. Also, if you head to one of their free events, you might be able to pick up a couple more free samples.

If you’re signed up to Sephora’s loyalty program, every year when it’s your birthday you can enjoy a special gift from Sephora. In fact, it only has to be your birthday month in order to claim your free birthday gift and no purchase is needed.

Birthday gifts differ each year but in 2020 the following gifts are available, MILK Makeup Mascara and Lip + Cheek Set, Briogeo Mini Charcoal + Coconut Oil Shampoo and Mini Deep Conditioning Mask and even Jo Malone Mini Wood Sage and Sea Salt Cologne ( for VIB and Rouge members online).

Sephora Return Policy

Sephora has extended its returns policy due to Covid_19 and for products purchased in-store on or after February 15 2020, they will accept in-store returns with a receipt within 30 days of the stores reopening.

Products purchased in-store on or after January 15 2020 to February 14 2020 can be returned within 30 days of the stores reopening for store credit.

For online purchases, the standard 30-day free return policy has been increased to 60 days. Shipping charges are non-refundable unless Sephora is at fault. It’s always best to check online at Sephora for their full return policy terms and conditions.
